How many people can the Dining Room seat?
We can seat up to 150 people in the Dining Room; however, if you need a dance floor, the maximum seating is 110 guests.

Do you have private spaces?
We have both private and semi private spaces available for parties of 15-250 guests. Ask a Banquet Coordinator for details.

Is there a room fee?
EMBC does not have a room fee; however, for private events we do have a minimum spending requirement (MSR). The MSR includes all food and drinks purchased by you and your guests. MSR’s vary and are based on the month, day of the week, and time of the event. Please contact a Banquet Coordinator for more information.

How many people will automatically make my event private?

A party over 70 people will make the Dining Room private. In this case, we will implement an MSR. A party over 20 in the Rathskellar will make the Basement private. In this case we will implement an MSR.

Do you have an elevator?
No. EMBC has an upstairs Dining Room and a lower level room/bar for private events. Our main level bar does have wheelchair access from the rear entrance of our building, but there are steps to the other areas of our restaurant.

How does the bar tab work?
There are multiple options for the alcohol tab. You are charged beverages as they are ordered. Ask a Banquet Coordinator for details.

What event services do you offer?

Can I rent out the whole restaurant?
Full restaurant closing functions are available. Ask a Banquet Coordinator for details and pricing.

What if my guests have dietary restrictions?
Please notify your Banquet Coordinator of any dietary restrictions including allergies that need to be accommodated. Gluten free and vegetarian items are available upon request.

Are outside vendors allowed?
Ellicott Mills Brewing Company is only licensed to sell and serve alcoholic beverages for consumption on premise. No food or beverage will be permitted to be brought into Ellicott Mills Brewing Company by patrons or any of his/her guests. Dessert cakes for special events may be brought onto the premise with prior notification and approval from a Banquet Coordinator.

Is a deposit required?
All events are considered tentative until a deposit is placed. Deposits are required in order to reserve the space and are taken off of your final bill on the day of your event.

How does gratuity work?
EMBC does not automatically add gratuity to any check; however, an 18-22% gratuity is strongly suggested.

What types of payment are accepted?

Payment must be made in full on the day of your event. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Company checks are accepted with prior authorization.
